Abstract
This research paper conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis ofICT integration in education, investigating trends, author prominence, institutionalcontributions, and thematic focus within this domain. Through the Dimensionsacademic research database, 1790 pertinent publications from 2014 to 2023 wereidentified. VOSviewer, a robust bibliometric analysis tool, was employed to visualizeand explore bibliometric networks among these publications. Analyzing dataencompassing citations, co-keyword occurrences, and co-citations, we constructednetworks to unveil underlying scholarly patterns. The study unveils prolific authors,leading journals, contributing countries, and influential publications. Furthermore,evolving research themes over time are identified, shedding light on ICT integra-tion’s research focus. This research’s significance extends to both academia andpractical application. Scholars gain a comprehensive overview of research themesand trends, while practitioners receive insights for informed educational technologyimplementation. Uniquely, this study employs bibliometric analysis and knowledgemapping to monitor research growth and development. Our analysis distinguishesitself by offering an extensive, current review, providing a valuable resource forunderstanding ICT integration’s progress. Innovative visualizations through biblio-metric analysis facilitate an understanding of keyword network structures and theirevolution. This research advances the existing literature by offering an updatedreview through bibliometric analysis and knowledge maps, fostering further stridesin this critical and evolving field.
