Abstract
The study aimed to identify the most important educational and social problems faced by Arabic language learners in Ghana - the city of Prang as a model. And to reach the most appropriate solutions to these problems. The study used the descriptive analytical approach to identify the most important educational and social problems faced by Arabic language
learners in the city of Prang. The study showed that the most important educational and social problems faced by Arabic language learners in the city of Prang are: the weak use of the Arabic language as a means of
communication at home and at school, and this is due to the lack of
encouragement of teachers for students to speak Arabic, as well as the
lack of presence of Arabic language scholars in student communities, and the communities' preference for the English language over the Arabic language in appreciation, respect and interest; which leads to weak
student interest and passion for learning it. The study also showed that there are no statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample members attributed to the gender and level variables, as well as the number of years of studying the Arabic language for the students.
